Former Indiana basketball coach Bobby Knight knocked Kentucky coach John Calipari in his speech during a fundraiser. Knight was talking about how the integrity of the game has been lacking.
He went so far as to say this:
“You see we’ve got a coach at Kentucky who put two schools on probation and he’s still coaching. I really don’t understand that.”
I understand the concern from Knight, but this comes from a man who was investigated for beating his former players. I’d like to see one person who can take an integrity speech about college basketball seriously coming from this man.
