Not something too shocking regarding the Allen Iverson situation is the interest of the Philadelphia 76ers. Before bouncing around the past few seasons, Iverson was the face of the 76ers franchise and truly put Philadelphia back on the NBA map.
However, the year is now 2009 and I don’t see the 76ers signing Iverson as a positive thing. Although Lou Williams will sit out eight weeks out due to a broken jaw, Iverson cannot help this team. It would be a waste of money.
I personally believe that rookie Jrue Holiday should have his minutes increased due to the injury of Williams and they then can move on from there. The franchise should put their devotion into young talent rather than old talent that has an attitude problem.
Just my not so humble opinion!
