Former Nets assistant coach Del Harris resigned from the team last week after finding out that the Nets would not hire him as their head coach next year. A mere two days after Nets president Rod Thorn told Harris’ agent that he will not be the head coach next season, Harris was gone. Harris has 12 years of head coaching experience in the NBA, amassing a 556-457 record over that time. I don’t blame Harris for not wanting to stay since there is no place for advancement.
