Last Thursday, Nu’Keese Richardson and Mike Edwards of the Tennessee Volunteers football team were charged with attempted robbery. The convenience store they tried to rip off was also right on the edge of campus. A very smart move on their part.
Both are at the ripe age of 18-years-old, with Richardson playing as wide receiver and Edwards as a defensive back. Needless to say, in furtherance of the case the two freshman were dismissed from the team.
These two freshman had a chance to have it all and make it to the dance after a few years under Lane Kiffin and one of the best college football programs in the nation. Now, they can imagine this from their jail cells. Ouch!
