With a win over the Rams yesterday, it is hard for Kurt Warner and the Cardinals to be down. However, in the 2nd quarter of Sunday’s game, Warner received a blow to the head after being slammed to the ground.
Warner mustered enough strength to finish the drive with a touchdown, but he came out of the game after. Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt expressed concern for his quarterback, saying that he will undergo baseline tests for his cognitive functions.
I respect Kurt Warner and I am sad to say this, but when is it time to call it quits? Warner is still producing but he is becoming old in a violent game. His health is the most important thing, therefore we will see how this testing comes to play in the future of Kurt Warner’s NFL career.
