Trivia - the Lakers maintain the report for the longest consecutive successful streak in US franchise team sports. It is also an NBA record. What is that number? (33)

I am also a huge fan of boxing specially Manny Pacquiao but not just because were both filipino but because his the best boxer on the planet. I just want to comment about mayweather jr. We filipinos are really wondering how did that kind of boxer bacame the previous pound for pound king?

He doesnt even have the skills and the talent in short he dont know boxing at all. I have watched all his fights and based on what i saw he WONT even got a chance to win over one our AMATEUR BOXER! Then his saying that he dont need to fight Pacquiao?

Well maybe his coorect because his not even qualified to fight the greatest boxer in the world. His not even qualified to be his sparring mate because he punch like a girl perhaps his gay? You dont even match the lousiest boxer here in the philippenes!

So dont even think about you can take down the Pacman! In your dreams maybe but in reality you cannot and you will never be... Stupid trying hard gay boxer... hehehe (--,)

The Pro Bowl is the worst all-star game in sports! Players don't show up.
The game means nothing!!! They change the rules so it's not even football.
Recognize players as Pro Bowlers but don't play a game!!!

Boxing is just like the WWF, made-up. I saw the fight, yes he won by decision, a cream would have been a clear knockout, did not happen. Floyd Mayweather maybe the best boxer of all time to beat up on washed up fighters. So Floyd Mayweather, did not make the weight for the fight, so he heavier than the weight class that he is fighting in, and his opponent was older, shorter and weigh less. Are we impressed that he won, what a charade. Had we seen him come back and defeat Pacman, Cotto, Mosley or Margarito, then maybe he would deserve our attention, till then, snore, snore. Now we find out that this piece of work owes our government millions of dollars. Why should we believe this guy? I guess the rumors are true that he did everything to avoid fighting Antonio Margarito, before his unexpected first retirement, chicken.

Howdy Jason, just got around to checking my comments at From The Blue Line, and figured I'd get back to you. I'm always down for networking, especially when it comes to sports, so if you'd like, I can add you to my blog roll, and I'll post some links to any hockey related stuff you may want to get out there.

I also want to comment about the QB Salaries because I've had this debate recently and feel pretty strongly in favor of both Manning and Rivers' extensions, and for two reasons.

Manning has done everything that's been asked of him, including bringing a Championship back to a slumping New York sports market. That alone qualifies him for a big payday; especially considering how quickly they'll castrate him if he fails. It's only fair.

As far as Rivers, he's been the consummate professional, and he's already proven he's a gamer. He played that New England game a few years ago with a torn ACL, and considering that their franchise RB (LT) sat out with a bad toe, proves to me that he's the face of the offense, and if anything, the face of that franchise. His offensive numbers have increased pretty steadily over the last three years, and I've noticed that he's probably one of the most consistent QB's you'll find. Oh, and the Manning to the Giants trade that made this debate possible has something to do with the timing of Rivers' deal. Almost like a big F U to Eli for bailing on them years ago.
